Looks like you're getting in figured out,K, this is a beautiful shot. The tonal range is healthy and the composition is primo. Well done!

I am working on tonality, for sure. Any suggestions on making the range more healthy? Tinkered with curves, but this is the best I could come up with for now - the snow tended to get too contrasty and granular, if that makes any sense... Take care!
